Grason Cook - Principle

I have been selling in the façade industry since 2001. Since that time I have represented fiber cement panels, phenolic panels, and Aluminum Composite Panels (ACM). For 9 years my sales focus was specifically on architectural calls and introducing new products into the market. For the past 11 years, it has been in a Sales Management role over direct employees and independent representatives, focusing on sales thru metal system fabricators in the US and Canada.

After hiring and working for 11 years with over 20 independent manufacturer sales agents/agencies in this market I realized that not all are equal. I know what makes an Agency valuable to a market and what doesn’t. As a manager hiring independent agents, it was important for me to know that they would adhere to our message, procedures, and reporting strategies. Managers expect an adoption of culture so as to have similar messaging throughout the company and territories. As a manufacturer sales agent, I know that the value comes from being readily available, easy to work with, and knowledgeable about the products. It’s our job to save a building designer time and help with research. I’ve never been afraid to say “I don’t know, but I’ll find out quickly”.

Over these past 20+ years, I have worked with so many wonderful people and companies throughout this industry, and look forward to using that knowledge to help architects, designers, and façade fabricators/installers connect with manufacturers that can meet their specific needs
